Our Workshops

Refugees and Migrants
Our workshops developed for refugees and migrants use drama, movement, music and visual art to achieve the following outcomes:

Develop Key Skills
Talitha Art's workshops use fun, engaging and creative activities to help individuals gain key skills in language, communication, teamwork and confidence building.
“I have really bad skill in English but I learnt communication from the group.
I feel really fresh, really good.”
- Arman*, Workshop participant
Foster Wellbeing
Our workshops are designed to improve mental health and wellbeing through creative activities that incorporate movement, breathwork and opportunity for individual creative expression and reflection. The workshops offer mental health tools for individuals to use in their own lives moving forward.
"I’m going through a hard time right now and it makes me feel happy and forget what I was going through."
- Maria*, Workshop Participant

Build Community
Our workshops are designed to help individuals with shared lives experience across diverse cultural background to build a sense of community and connection through creative group activities.
"We observed that Talitha workshops were hugely beneficial for those young people who arrived and presented with slightly less confidence and some social anxiety. There were a few regular attendees who we directly observed grow and develop in confidence."
- Sarah Quintas, Youth Development Coordinator, Young Roots
