For those of you who know us well, you will know that we have a small tight-knit team at Talitha. This month we are sadly saying goodbye to our Therapeutic Director, Kate. With change, though, comes new opportunity. So we have created two exciting new job roles to join our dedicated creative team.
Therapeutic Arts Director
We are seeking an artist and/or arts therapist (from any creative arts background) with experience in integrative arts practice to steer Talitha’s therapeutic arts workshops and training. The ideal candidate will have a qualification in a therapeutic arts field such as Art, Drama, Dance, and will be passionate about the power of the creative arts to bring healing, restoration and transformation. The role is home-based but will require travel into London for all meetings and programmes.
If you are a passionate leader who believes in the power of the creative arts to transform lives, are a natural team leader who loves to work with others, have experience working with vulnerable people, love to devise and develop creative arts workshops and training sessions, and are willing to work flexibly with therapeutic intent but outside a clinical framework, this may be the role for you.
Creativity is at the heart of everything we do, and therefore we are seeking someone who shares our belief in the transformative power of the creative arts and can reflect our creative and relational ethos in their approach to training and workshops. Talitha is a charity with Christian foundations, and while this position is open to those of all faiths and none, we are seeking someone who is sympathetic to our Christian roots and values.

Partnerships & Programmes Manager
If you are creative, relational, organised, have experience with facilitating workshops, and love meeting and forming relationships with people, this might be the perfect role for you.
The majority of the role will include developing new partnerships, building on existing ones and project managing all of Talitha’s programming in the UK and abroad (including workshops, events and activities). We are looking for someone with experience in the creative arts and some experience leading/co-leading workshops (with children, older people, and/or vulnerable people) who is willing to be trained as a Talitha practitioner, as there will be a need to facilitate (within a wider team) 3-4 programmes per year. The role is mostly home-based but will require travel into London for all meetings and programmes.
